Specifically, my goal was to answer two questions:
What is the difference in cost to acquire audience attention for each format? (accounting for production costs, etc)
Do video podcasts lead to growth of the creators and brands that embrace them… or is it simply correlated?—ie. Established creators and brands expanding into video as an investment in future growth.
The report breaks down both of these questions.
But I just recorded a video sharing some additional perspective, musings, and hunches after spending many hours parsing this data...
Including several assumptions I had about each format going in that were proven wrong.
