✊ A simple diagnostic to ID your show's biggest bottlenecks

Hi friends,

I don’t typically send emails on Sundays, but I wanted to share a resource I think you’ll find useful.

At the link below, you can find the Podcast Growth Engine Assessment.

It’s the same assessment I go through with every new 1:1 client.

Nearly everyone who’s completed it has told me that the simple act of filling it out gave them several “aha” moments about why their current strategy wasn’t working and what they needed to do to fix it.

Here’s how it works:

The doc contains a highly detailed set of rubrics—covering your overall brand strategy, to sales system, to exposure activities, to your show itself.

Within each category is a series of “components”—assets, functions, or processes—that a healthy business has in place, each with its own rating scale, allowing you to pinpoint where you're currently at.

Many people find that what they thought was a 10/10—relating to their episode structure, for example—is actually closer to a 6.

Ie. Not good enough to cut it.

That's the bad news.

The good news is that the rubric then provides the map for what 10/10 is for each component.

Which means you now know exactly what to do to improve—both your score and your results.

It’s quite comprehensive.

But the 30–60 minutes it will take to complete might just give you the clarity on the hidden bottlenecks that are bogging down your show, marketing, and sales.

You can make a copy of the rubric at the link below.

Once you finish it, hit reply and let me know any insights you uncovered.

Stay Scrappy,

PS. If you have a validated product/service valued at $1k or more and a show with at least 250 dl/ep, you're likely a few strategies, tactics, and best practices away from adding $1k–$5k/mo in podcast-driven revenue.
