✊ Your new favourite show is here (no, it's not mine)

Happy Friday, friends,

It's been a while since I've had a show that has me drag-down-refreshing my podcast feed like it's Instagram, hoping to see something new pop up.

The kind of show that bumps down everything else in my to-listen, to-read, to-watch, to-consume queue.

But I finally have one, and I think there's a good chance it could become your new fav as well.

It's called How to Change the World.

Here's the pitch:

How to Change the World is a podcast breaking down the history of human innovation—from the Stone Age to today—one innovation at a time in chronological order with wit, humour, and surprising insight into what our past innovations as a species tell us about our future.

I wanted to share the show for three reasons:

  1. The show is literally my favourite show, and I've been telling all my smart, founder, creator, marketer friends about it for weeks... many of whom have now become equally die-hard listeners.

Given that this newsletter is primarily read by smart founders, creators, and marketers... I figured there's a good chance you might dig it as well.
  2. Sam Webster Harris, the host, is a Podcast Growth Engine client, and we've been workshopping the show together for over a year. Personally, I think this show has the potential to be one of those unicorn indie shows that gets 100k+ dl/ep, and I want to help give it as much of a boost as possible.
  3. The show is currently being featured by Apple Podcasts in the US, and we're trying to send as many positive signals their way as possible.

This is the second time the show's been featured in Apple in the past month (the first time was in the Australia/New Zealand store), and I suspect it will not be the last.

Goes to show the power of a killer concept, executed to perfection.

Anyway, if you're willing to give Sam a boost, listen to the trailer here, and if you're feeling extra generous, subscribe to the show.

Stay Scrappy,

If you're looking for an honest, no-punches-pulled assessment of why your show isn't growing and/or converting clients & customers, followed by a personalized step-by-step gameplan for your show, I'm currently booking X-Ray Audits for 2026.

On these audits, I spend 10-15 hours studying every aspect of your show and then put together a 1.5–3 hour video report of the precise issues that are stifling your growth.

Following the audit, we meet up to discuss the findings and next steps, then I build you a hyper-actionable growth plan showing you exactly what to do to get moving in the right direction.

If you'd like to learn more about grabbing one of the 12 slots available in 2026, reply to this email with "Audit" and I'll send you all the info.
